Designing a new search platform for properties in Switzerland from scratch.

Houzy is a platform for property owners, buyers, and sellers. The open ecosystem integrates user-friendly online tools such as property valuation, energy calculators, mortgage comparisons, property searches, and more. It also connects users, craftsmen, and other property experts with a single click. To extend its functionality, we have developed a property search feature (for buyers only) that includes an analysis of the selected property — such as market value, energy efficiency, and overall condition.
• prioritizing due to very limited time (3 months),
• close collaboration between developer & designer for many interactions and micro-interactions,
• prioritizing solutions that work well on both desktop and mobile,
• extending search to public platform, requiring new user journeys,
• coordinating with marketing strategy for overall user experience.
As a lead designer I was responsible for:
• UX, UI, interaction design,
• some of the product logic,
• communication with product managers, developers, marketing, graphic designers,
• developer handoff,
• monitoring and testing of the implemented designs, ensuring flawless execution.
