I just like making stuff 🙂 I've been designing things for more than 10 years, and still love it.
I'm a multidisciplinary designer specializing in UX and UI, with a background in architecture and graphic design. With over 10 years of experience in both physical and digital design, I combine creativity, systems thinking and visual design skills. I enjoy creative process, asking questions and what I like the most is finding simple answers to the most complex problems. I’m also fond of graphic design, especially when it comes to typography and history of user interface.
Before I started working as a UX designer, I studied and practiced architecture and graphic design.
My past experiences laid invaluable foundations for me to grow in the UX field. Architecture has taught me multi-layered thinking about design and how to combine beauty with ergonomy and engineering. It sharpened my ability to analyze both the big picture and details of complex systems, journeys and specific touchpoints. Graphic studies developed my creativity and aesthetic sense. Both fields gave me a strong foundation in the creative process, enabling me to build powerful and well-rounded designs.
"Simple things should be simple, complex things should be possible"
My design philosophy says that simplicity is key. I approach each project with the belief that good design comes from reducing and simplifying, rather than adding complexity.
I believe that working with others and being open to honest feedback have a significant impact on my design process. This broadens my perspective and lets me avoid becoming too fixated on a single idea, resulting in better and more innovative projects.
I see design as a cycle of creating something, trying it out, and making it a little bit better. Testing is an essential part of this process. That’s why I base my decisions on research and usability tests to validate and enhance the user experience.
I understand that a great user experience involves more than just good design, it also requires careful implementation. I take a hands-on approach and stay involved in the project from the very start until the end, ensuring that every detail is carefully considered and executed as planned.
Whenever possible I enjoy traveling, cooking for family and friends, hiking, listening to podcasts, visiting art museums and learning new facts about the animal world.
